If you are having bowel movements less than twice a week, and are experiencing a constipation headache (caused by abdominal pain and bloating, or, caused by excessive straining) then you are likely in need of some roughage. Are you on a low-fat diet, or trying to avoid fats altogether? Well, think about reconsidering because “good” fats, such as organic butter, unrefined extra virgin coconut oil, and olive oil, are actually beneficial for your bowel movement health!
Home care and dietary changes are normally what is needed for constipation, but early identification of signs and symptoms can make treatment safer, gentler and easier, for which your rear end will likely thank you for!
